SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
​​

Minimum 3-5 years experience in a hands-on role within a medium or large-scale warm climate vineyard.
-
Strong irrigation experience.
-
Sound communication skills, both written and verbal.
QUALIFICATIONS
​
-
Post-secondary qualifications in viticulture, agriculture, rural business management, irrigation or similar will be highly regarded.

A current and valid driver's licence is essential.

ChemCert accreditation.
-
Backhoe & forklift licence are highly desirable.
-
Current WHS training.
-
Willingness to undertake further training within areas of responsibility on an ongoing basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Spraying, pruning, under vine maintenance, harvest activities (such as driving SP harvesters) and operating large machinery / equipment maintenane.
-
Irrigation and fertigation activities.
-
Maintain vineyard infrastructure.
-
WHS record-keeping and accurate operational labour records.
-
Assist in ensuring all mobile and fixed equipment is well-maintained and kept in operational condition and contribute to the overall improvement of processes within maintenance activities.
