generational family legacy

OUR HISTORY

Our history began three generations ago with Cesare Sigismondi. Cesare migrated from Italy to Australia. Cesare married his wife Dora in Melbourne and commenced their new life journey in the Riverland Region of South Australia where Cesare established his first vineyard. Dino continued his grape growing legacy in 1989 and the company was formed. Today Dino and his wife Veronica Sigismondi continue to overlook all aspects of the company.

Our history began three generations ago with Cesare Sigismondi. Cesare migrated from Italy to Australia. Cesare married his wife Dora in Melbourne and commenced their new life journey in the Riverland Region of South Australia where Cesare established his first vineyard. Cesar's son Dino continued his grape growing legacy in 1989 and the company was formed. Today Dino and his wife Veronica Sigismondi continue to overlook all aspects of the company.

Dino and Veronica Sigismondi in the time-honored European fashion were raised with the family traditions of grape growing and winemaking. They are an energetic and vibrant couple with two children, Alec & Keisha Sigismondi. Dino and Veronica share a devoted interest in the growing of premium grapes to produce fine wines.

Sigismondi Estate Wines are located in the picturesque river settlement in the Riverland Region of South Eastern Australia. In the vineyards Dino & Veronica have Embraced the latest production technology, while in the winery the gentle pressing of the grapes & controlled temperature fermentations, have produced fine examples of Riverland wine, complemented by the sunshine in every bottle, that's just one of their "Southern Secrets".

Premium Red's like Shiraz & Cabernet are carefully selected; crushed and fermented in controlled temperatures, to become part of premium bottle or bulk ranges. Premium White's like the Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot Gris varietals, are picked using the company's own harvester's and team. Harvesting of the grapes is done at optimum maturity during the cool of the night and delivered to the winery shortly after to ensure the flavors remain fresh during processing. The Sigismondi family offer their own premium bulk wine ranges to their valued domestic and international customer base.
